Public History Concentration

Core Curriculum Requirements
Students pursuing a public history concentration are required to take the core courses described below:
HIST 6693. Historiography and Methodology. (Offered annually.)
HIST 6310. Seminar: History Museums (Offered bi-annually)
HIST 6320. Seminar: Historic Preservation (Offered bi-annually)
HIST 6330. Seminar: History in the Digital Age (Offered bi-annually) Spring 2004 Website

Remaining Coursework
At least 3 hours must be a Public History elective
At least 6 hours must be in traditional History seminars
No more than 9 hours outside the Department of History
Internship: 3-6 hours
